Freedom Toughbook can be used by all level users, including non-literate or non-speaking individuals, those who use text to communicate, those who prefer using pictures and symbols to communicate, or those who desire computer access. The Toughbook Can Take It
Tough on the outside and powerful on the inside, this rugged computer has a magnesium-alloy-protected LCD display, a fiberglass-reinforced lower case, and a shock-mounted hard drive. That means your computer’s components are safe, even under rigorous conditions.
Access Modes
With Freedom Toughbook, you choose the access method that’s most comfortable for you. Operate the computer using a standard keyboard, a mouse, HeadMouse™, switch access, a joystick, or Morse code. You can even operate the computer with the blink of an eye using our IST Switch.

Although all of our Toughbook computer systems are rugged and designed to withstand the rigors of the typical AAC environment, they are not indestructible. They are computers and must be handled with care. Words+ is not responsible for units that are damaged due to abuse or misuse on the part of the user.
